Anxiety comes in like an unexpected wave, slowly gaining momentum till it bubbles up to the surface like a tsunami.
It feels mighty and all-consuming, like the wave under a stormy sky.
To come out of this panic mode, find a way to ride that wave, rather than feeling thrashed by it from side to side.
First, bring your awareness to that wave and see exactly where and how is it manifesting in your body.
Thoughts and feelings will come, but don’t be distracted. Those are the ripples that have come together to create that wave of anxiety.
Stay focused on intentionally breathing light and love into parts of you where anxiety feels the strongest.
And slowly, but surely, find yourself riding the wave of surrender and trust, letting go of all those thoughts and feelings that triggered the wave of anxiety in the first place.
Do this consciously and repeatedly till you find yourself in calm, peaceful waters again.
